Site: Beal Road/Quail Run pond
Site ownership: City of Forest Grove
County: Washington
General directions: Hwy 47 about 1 mile north from Pacific Highway. Pond visible from Highway, but access as follows. Turn southwest on Sunset Dr, then right on Bonnie Lane, then right on Main Street and right onto Beal Road.
Habitats: Small city park with pond on edge of farmland.
Season: fall and winter
Comments: Ducks. Great Egret, frequently a Eurasian Wigeon or two. Hooded Merganser, American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, Bufflehead, Northern Pintail, Northern Shoveler, Green-winged Teal.
