Hwy 26 exit at Murray Blvd, south on SW Murray Blvd 0.5 miles, east on SW Butner Rd 0.8 miles, south on SW Huntington and find street parking.
Alternate directions: Hwy 26 exit on Cedar Hills Blvd, south <0.1 miles on SW Cedar Hills Blvd, west on SW Butner Rd 0.5 miles, south on SW Huntington Ave. Find street parking.
Habitats: One mile of paved sidewalks around this popular residential lake with joggers, bikers, skaters, and dog walkers.
Season: winter and spring
Comments: Ducks and gulls. Large flock of American Wigeon usually includes several Eurasian Wigeon. Single Greater White-fronted Geese sometimes occur. Wood Ducks, Bufflehead, Common Merganser, Ring-necked Ducks, others.
Frequently has 5 or more species of winter gulls including California, Ring-billed, Herring, Thayer's, Glaucous-winged, Mew, and Western.
Facilities: No rest rooms.
