Bird: Western Bluebird

Site: Iowa Hill Road

Site ownership: public roads, private residences

General directions: From South 10th Avenue in Cornelius becoming Golf Course Road to end, right on Iowa Hill Road.

1. SW Nursery Road, from here west to SW Hergert Road, south to dead end.
2. Gnos Road at intersection with Iowa Hill Road.
3. SW Dixon Mill Road, then west on SW Goddard Road (dead end).
4. SW Unger Road to intersection with Riedwig Road, immediately east on Unger Road.

Specific directions: Fencerows, telephone lines, farm fields, bluebird nest boxes.

Season: Year-round, easier March to September

Comments: Be curteous of private property, do not block road. Stay in car.

Hazards: Dogs may bring you undesired attention as you drive by.
