Bird: Mountain Quail

County: Washington

Site: Timber

General directions: 1.7 miles south of Timber.

Specific directions: Park where blocked logging spur takes off to the west, overlooking a logged valley. Birds can be heard in early morning (4 heard at 7:30 a.m. on May 16, 2004). No good place to actually see the birds, though.

Season: Calls April to May
