This page features photos of Pacific Northwest birds. Some may be well-photographed birds that are difficult to separate from some other similar species. However, my goal is to present more common birds with their major field marks hidden ("bad photos archive"). In the field we don't always get the best view. So I'm hoping to have photos that show lesser-known identification marks. The purpose of these quizes is to learn to identify the whole bird.
