Summer Seabirds pelagic trip
From Newport, Oregon, offshore up to 17.5 nautical miles west of Yaquina Head

Very pleasant sea conditions with gentle 6 feet swells, no wind waves. Wind from the north at 10 knots. Thin high haze; good visibility. Temperature approximately 60 F. Seabirds generally sparse except for a noticeable migration of Pacific Loons and high numbers of Sooty Shearwaters.
