Pelagic trip report:
Saturday, March 19, 2005

5-hours from Newport Oregon, offshore to 20 miles where turned back by heavy seas and rain.
Trip guides: Greg Gillson, Troy Guy, Tim Shelmerdine, Lisa Sheffield, David Mandell.

Highlights from the trip included good looks at SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATERS and ANCIENT MURRELETS. A FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATER 20 miles offshore adds to our small, but growing list of spring records from Oregon.
